BPA Workshops start next week!

The ctcLink Business Process Alignment (BPA) workshops we’ve been talking about forever (well, at least since February) are finally here! Sessions start Monday, June 17 and run through August. System-wide Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from all over the state are gearing up for this next phase of the project, which will provide a preview of the online business process flows within the PeopleSoft system.

And, as Barbara Martin, project director, said in the ctcLink spring 2013 newsletter, “As system-wide SMEs review the workflow diagrams for each business process, we’ll get a chance to verify that each process is correct, complete and will fulfill our requirements for serving students and doing our online college business well into the future.”

If you’ve been tapped as a ctcLink SME at your college (or SBCTC) and you don’t have the information you need to get involved next week, go to ctclink.sbctc.edu and click on the College Resources page, then BPA Workshops to get all the information for the ctcLink SME summer fun!

We’ll see all you SMEs online or in Bellevue soon!

About ctclinknews

ctcLink is a single, centralized system of online tools for student services and administrative functions for all 34 community and technical colleges in Washington. In the next several years, ctcLink will be implemented on every campus, providing online tools for everything from admissions to graduation. The first three ("FirstLink") colleges came online in August 2015. A wave of 8 more colleges (cleverly named "Wave 1") will switch over to the new ctcLink system in August 2016, followed by Wave 2 in 2017 and Wave 3 in 2018.
