Vendor demonstrations coming to a close

The third and final week of vendor demonstrations is underway and quickly coming to a close. This week, the ctcLink evaluation teams are hearing from CedarCrestone.

CedarCrestone is proposing PeopleSoft Campus Solutions for the student/academic software solution and Workday for the HR/payroll and finance modules, with a team from CedarCrestone to assist in implementing both solutions at all 34 colleges.

Once again, VEST and SME evaluators are packing the room here at Bellevue College to take part in the demonstration process, while many people are tuning in via live streaming video or catching the demos later once the day’s recordings are posted the following day. Note: remember to take the quick survey after watching the demos each day. You can go back and take the survey anytime for any of the demo days. The survey link is at the bottom of the streaming video page.

Also, a huge thank you to the Bellevue College Television Services crew (a few of them pictured below) for recording all the sessions, and a colossal THANK YOU to the BC Information Resources staff for providing technology support all three weeks.

Thank you BC Television Services staff and student workers. You rock! You record. We thank you.

About ctclinknews

ctcLink is a single, centralized system of online tools for student services and administrative functions for all 34 community and technical colleges in Washington. In the next several years, ctcLink will be implemented on every campus, providing online tools for everything from admissions to graduation. The first three ("FirstLink") colleges came online in August 2015. A wave of 8 more colleges (cleverly named "Wave 1") will switch over to the new ctcLink system in August 2016, followed by Wave 2 in 2017 and Wave 3 in 2018.
