July 3 update: bidder list and job opening

Two quick updates on the ctcLink front…

First, with the ctcLink proposals in from bidders, the 100+ system-wide evaluators are busy reading proposals from five separate vendors. In alphabetical order, they are:

  • Campus CE
  • Cedar Creststone
  • Ciber
  • Microsoft
  • Oracle

Second, the ctcLink Team will be adding an Organizational Change Project Lead to the team. One of the keys to success for the ctcLink project will be clear communication, timely training and guiding people through the change that will come with implementation of the ctcLink project. This new position will lead that effort. The position was recently posted on the SBCTC Jobs webpage and is open through July 13. You can find the posting here: ctcLink Organizational Change Project Lead.

About ctclinknews

ctcLink is a single, centralized system of online tools for student services and administrative functions for all 34 community and technical colleges in Washington. In the next several years, ctcLink will be implemented on every campus, providing online tools for everything from admissions to graduation. The first three ("FirstLink") colleges came online in August 2015. A wave of 8 more colleges (cleverly named "Wave 1") will switch over to the new ctcLink system in August 2016, followed by Wave 2 in 2017 and Wave 3 in 2018.
