Yesterday afternoon was the deadline for vendors to submit their proposals for the ctcLink project.
Right now, ctcLink Project Team members are reviewing the proposals to verify that they have met the minimum requirements as stated in the RFP. Once this is complete, the proposals will be uploaded to a secure reviewing area so the evaluators can start reading the proposals. More than 100 staff members system-wide are involved in the proposals evaluation process and this is another great opportunity to thank them yet again for the significant time and effort they have committed to for this project. Thank you all!
As a preparation step, all of the evaluators had a chance to take part in an orientation call today. They received a roadmap (field guide) to help them navigate the proposals, which are 100s of pages long. Since many evaluators are reviewing a specific area of the proposals (such as Financial Aid), the guide is meant to help point evaluators to their keys areas of focus.
Proposal feedback/discussion sessions are scheduled for July 16-17, with a final scoring session set for July 18. The announcement of the top qualified bidders is currently scheduled for July 19 and those top vendors will present demonstrations of their products beginning August 6.
So, in other words, ctcLink is happening! And…it’s going to be a busy summer. We’ll keep you posted here as things progress.
