RFP evaluators getting ready

Nearly 100 CTC system staff members have volunteered to evaluate the vendor proposals we’ll be receiving in late June for ctcLink. Nearly 100! That’s amazing! Especially considering the time commitment included in this effort. It still seems like we can’t thank these people enough,  but we’ll keep trying.

Many of these folks–called SME (Subject Matter Expert) or VEST (Vendor Evaluation & Scoring Team) Evaluators–attended one of two pre-evaluation team workshops held this week. The sessions gave evaluators a detailed look at the proposal evaluation process and the evaluation criteria, along with an introduction to the tools they’ll be using for the scoring process.

A follow-up evaluation team workshop will be scheduled for those unable to attend this week’s sessions.

About ctclinknews

ctcLink is a single, centralized system of online tools for student services and administrative functions for all 34 community and technical colleges in Washington. In the next several years, ctcLink will be implemented on every campus, providing online tools for everything from admissions to graduation. The first three ("FirstLink") colleges came online in August 2015. A wave of 8 more colleges (cleverly named "Wave 1") will switch over to the new ctcLink system in August 2016, followed by Wave 2 in 2017 and Wave 3 in 2018.
