Lots of interest in ctcLink RFP!

If the numbers are any indication, it appears we have lots of interest in the RFP for ctcLink. So far, more than 70 vendors have downloaded the RFP from the official Department of Enterprise Services procurement website.

In addition, the ctcLink core project team held a pre-proposal conference call yesterday to answer questions from vendors. There were about 60 callers on the line and, so far, vendors have asked a total of 30 questions about the RFP. Based on the questions, the team may issue a brief addendum to the RFP within the next week.

Also, if you are a college or SBCTC employee and you missed the last blog post about volunteering to evaluate the vendor proposals, check it out and get involved if you can. The evaluation process is getting underway.

About ctclinknews

ctcLink is a single, centralized system of online tools for student services and administrative functions for all 34 community and technical colleges in Washington. In the next several years, ctcLink will be implemented on every campus, providing online tools for everything from admissions to graduation. The first three ("FirstLink") colleges came online in August 2015. A wave of 8 more colleges (cleverly named "Wave 1") will switch over to the new ctcLink system in August 2016, followed by Wave 2 in 2017 and Wave 3 in 2018.
